How can I confirm that my child is registered?
The best thing to do is to call Brightspark.  They can give you the quickest confirmation that a student is officially registered.
When will you hold the parent meetings?
The initial parent information meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.  The final pre-departure information meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.  Please see the "Timeline of Impotant Dates" page on this site.

What is the RGP?
The Refund Guarantee Program is an insurance policy.  Purchase of the RGP means that you can cancel even up to the day of departure and receive a full refund (except for the cost of the RGP).  The registration packet will have the specific cost of the RGP for this year's trip.

How will students choose their roommates?

How many students can you take?

There is room for 100 students.  Registration is done on a first come, first served basis.  A student is officially registered once they have turned in their behavior contract and waiver forms, picked up a registration packet, and officially registered on the Brightspark Travel website (with the required code provided in the registration packet).

What is the student to chaperone ratio and who are the chaperones?
The ratio of students to chaperones is approximately 10 to 1.  I have a staff of veteran chaperones who have been doing this with me for a long time.  They are comprised of teachers from our school and district, and some employees from other districts.  For example, one of my regular chaperones is a good friend who is a health aide at a school in another district.
